We are offering 2 different options for enrollment this year
Option 1: A. Read all the information regarding requirements and enrollment. B. Print the enrollment and family forms and mail them to us along with your tuition fees for the year. C. Once we have received your enrollment information and tuition fees we will send you an e-mail to verify your enrollment and then you can go onto the homeschool reporting website
Option 2: Make an appointment to come to my home on August 14th between the hours of 2-8pm to register. You can call me at 205-863-0406 or you can e-mail me at amyf11@cfaith.com
Below is a tentative list of fieldtrips we will be offering for the year. Some of the dates may change but I will be in contact with you with plenty of time prior to the event to register. I will be sending out an e-mail once a month regarding fieldtrip info. and if you would like to participate you will need to e-mail me within the week because most of the fieldtrips we go on require us to give a count of children who will be attending at least 2-3 weeks in advance. We may add more events as they arise or inform you of other opportunities with other homeschool groups so check the calendar page for more information about upcoming fieldtrips and events.

* not all details for all fieldtrips have been finalized yet but we will be updating the information as the year progresses and we will e-mail you with information.
*one of the ways our family saves money on fieldtrips is to buy memberships. Most museums offer family membership which allows you free admittance for the rest of the year not only to their museum but to others that offer reciprocal membership. For instance you can buy a membership to the McWayne Science Center which is a memeber of the ACTC (Association of Science and Technology Center) and get into over 250 other museums for free for the year. Some of the other museums you might be interested in are the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL, CocaCola Space Science Center in Columbus, GA, The Adventure Science Center in Nashville, TN just to name a few. A zoo membership also offers reciprocity with other zoos around the US.
I am wondering how much of an interest their is in offering co-op classes this year. We would have to start planning soon if there is. I am thinking about classes for children in grades K-5 (Elementary Age). Classes that would provide hands-on learning such as science classes. Classes would require parental involvement. E-mail me at amyf11@cfaith.com if you are interested. Thanks Amy Fasold
Update: Sept 11th: We have about 5 families interested in co-op class so far. I would like to have classes beginning in January. If you are still interested please send me a message.
ALCA has a Generation Josua Club in St. Clair Co.
Dates & Times for the 2009 School Year: Meetings will be held the 2nd Tuesday of Every Month beginning in September from 4-6pm at Word Alive Church in Coldwater, AL
Designed for youth between the ages of 11 and 19 who want to become a force for good in the civic and political arenas, Generation Joshua exists to assist parents to raise up the next generation of Christian leaders and citizens, equipped to positively influence the political processes of today and tomorrow.
The GenJ Clubs program is a new and exciting program for Generation Joshua Members. Any GenJ member may start or join a Club. Clubs are organized by congressional district and county. GenJ Clubs consist of a minimum of five (5) GenJ members, meeting once a month to pray for the nation, carry out their civic and community duties, support each other in their civics educational process, communicate truth (spiritual and political), and be ready on short notice to be involved in campaigns for pro-family, conservative candidates.
The vision behind GenJ Clubs has its roots in Alexander Hamilton’s Christian Constitutional Society. Hamilton’s vision was cut short after he fell prey to the bullet of Aaron Burr, but his vision can still become a reality today. GenJ Clubs are a great way to broaden the Generation Joshua vision of developing your civics education and training, maintaining freedom and creating an infrastructure of well equipped Christian young people who will lead our nation and world in the generations to come.
